WHAT IS HOPE’S TAPESTRY?

An invisible thread connects those destined to meet regardless of time place or circumstance. Life’s threads may wear, tangle and fray but will not break. I’ve witnessed so many broken, life threads being pulled together from around the globe. Frayed, thread-bare lives… woven tight together through renewed trust and unconditional love.  Hope can weave this beautiful tapestry of strength and courage. We must seek out these individual life threads and draw them close…weave them into the fabric of our lives, our thoughts …our global family.  Hope will be the tapestry that wraps survivors in a blanket of trust, security, peace and love. Hope’s Tapestry will provide a sanctuary for survivors to call home. A safe haven where the door will always be open, no matter where you are. A quiet place where you can curl up next to me, and find words of encouragement and hope.

We cannot know the depth of where a soul has been unless with tears and pain we walk that trail with them. We cannot even understand how far and deep the road until we reach within ourselves to lend a hand, you know. So pick them up, the fallen, and feed them a word so sweet. Carry them through places not pretty, places you never wanted to be. And when you do you will find a love like you’ve never known. I promise, I promise you today a friend in the heart will be sewn.
